The Guild is committed to providing members with opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in using the tools required for presentations. These events will give you a chance to learn more about using PowerPoint and other presentation tools for presentation design, share your own slides, and ask questions about challenges with PowerPoint.

The PowerPoint Slide Makeover Sessions allow members to showcase their presentation design skills and talents, displaying the amazing talent within the Guild. During each 60-minute Slide Makeover Session, three members will present their work in 18 minutes. They will walk through the process of the slide and deck design and address any questions or comments from the audience.
If you are interested in presenting at a future Slide Makeover session - please contact us using this form.

The Speed Sliding Sessions provide Guild members the chance to have some fun testing out our PowerPoint skills in a live building session. The Speed Sliding Sessions are 60 minutes long, starting with a slide prompt shared to all participants. For 20-25 minutes, we each work on the slide design while sharing comments and hanging out. The last half of the session is spend sharing our work and seeing all the amazing ways you can interpret a slide prompt. In the past we have worked on slides with tables, creating icon slides, handling text intensive slides and timelines.
Every other Friday, you have the opportunity to ask any PowerPoint-related questions during our PowerPoint Office Hours, led by Echo Swinford, MVP. The Office Hours last for 30 minutes. No registration is required - simply join via the Events page. Between the bi-weekly Office Hours you can ask questions about PowerPoint challenges in our Slack channel #help-sos.
The Presentation Guild's Slack workspace offers a dynamic and inclusive platform for professionals in the presentation space - and a place to ask about any challenges you might have with PowerPoint or other presentation software. Ask your question in our Slack channel #help-sos or browse our channels to see what questions have been asked and answered in the past.
