What is the Presentation Guild Volunteer Info Session?
The Presentation Guild Info Session is a one-hour session where you get a chance to learn what the Presentation Guild is building, why volunteer leadership matters, and how your skills and experience could help shape the future of the presentation profession. This session will also explore the professional benefits of volunteering, including opportunities to grow your network, strengthen leadership skills, and make a meaningful impact.
The session will be led by current Presentation Guild directors and will include time to learn more about volunteering, the life of a board director or associate, and next steps. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and better understand what it means to contribute to the Guild.
What will be covered in the session?
We have three things we want to share in this session. First, why the Guild matters—not just as an organization, but as a professional association for people who do presentation work. Second, what is in it for you as a volunteer: the growth, the relationships, and the impact. And third, how you can contribute, including the types of roles and opportunities available.
