The Presentation Designer will have a strong eye for design and is responsible for the designing, producing and updating of content for internal and external presentations. This includes financial earnings decks, sales and senior leadership meeting content, new business pitches and content for internal town halls. This person is responsible for working with the marketing teams, Corporate Communications and Regional Communications teams, sales teams and the in-house creative agency to ensure that all branded presentations are created to a high standard. This person will be responsible for upholding brand standards while creating effective, dynamic and well thought out presentations. The Presentation Designer will partner with writers, designers, and project management teams in development of presentations that will be used across a broad range of outputs which may include but not limited to, live presentations, on-screen, iPad, and print. This person must have the ability to communicate information and data effectively with the use of animation, builds, infographics, as well as creation of easy to understand charts, graphs and diagrams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brainstorm with clients and creative team to develop ideas to transform generic, text-heavy (sometimes financial data) presentations into more graphically engaging, concise and interactive experiences
Conceive bold slide designs and case studies, bringing data and perspectives to life through the development of data visualizations, infographics and charts, and assist in the development of marketing and presentation materials
Create custom style templates and visual style guide for new presentations as well as update existing templates
Work closely with team members to communicate high-level presentations
Offer key executives consultancy-type service when developing meeting and business update presentations
Execute beautifully designed, consistent, accurate, and impactful work, effectively and creatively under tight deadlines
Ensure strict compliance with all style guides and presentation specifications
Liaise with senior management to create on-brand new business presentations
Support all pitch meetings to create collateral which communicates the work and agency capabilities in the best possible way
Participating in brainstorms
Provide on-site production services at sales meetings or other key events as needed
skills and knowledge required

Expert in PowerPoint and fluent in other software such as Key Note and Prezi
Fluent in Word, Excel, Adobe Creative Suite InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop (Flash and Web skills a plus)
Ability to apply appropriate layout, typographic, color and imagery design to all presentations
Possess a practical understanding of image manipulation and re-touching principles
Meticulous attention to detail
Possess excellent written, oral, communication and presentation skills
Effectively manage and prioritize numerous projects with tight deadlines
Effectively and professionally collaborate and interact with team peers, senior level executives, clients and interdepartmental colleagues
Ability to interpret and apply written and verbal direction to design assignments
Ability to coach and mentor peers
Ability to create and maintain positive work environment for team
Possess an understanding of key marketing and business objectives and ability to express those objectives in deliverables
Ability to work past normal business hours on occasion as needed
Must be able to travel on occasion for off-site events
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

BA in graphic design or related field of study from an accredited college or equivalent experience
Healthcare industry knowledge and experience a plus
Minimum of 5 years experience working in a creative agency or similar environment
Strong portfolio showcasing high-end presentation design skills (i.e. animation, builds, dynamic charts and diagrams) and clean design aesthetic
