Does the Guild have a job board for members?
Yes, most certainly! Once you’re logged in, visit the job board here.
How can I obtain a copy of the invoice for my membership?
A copy of your receipt is emailed immediately to the email you signed up with. If you cannot find your copy (and it isn’t in your spam folder), use the contact form on this page and we’ll send one to you as soon as we can.
Can I have my content published on your blog?
We are always looking for new content! Reach out to us using the contact form on this page and tell us your ideas.
I just joined and I cannot access member-exclusive content. What do I do?
Gosh, it sounds like there is a glitch in the system that shouldn’t be there. If this happens to you, please let us know immediately so that it can be fixed and you can get in. Your expiration date will always be one year after you are granted access to member-exclusive content.

Are there really people behind this website?
Yes, there really are. Not literally. If you looked behind your screen or minimize your browser window to actually look behind the website, we won’t be there. However, those of us listed on this page live all over the world and work very hard to make the Guild an awesome place to be.
Is the Guild just for presentation DESIGNERS?
HECK no! We have people from all parts of the presentation industry as members: coaches, coders, show creators, A/V, and many more who don’t have the words “presentation” OR “design” in their titles. We feel more well-rounded that way.
How can I help?
Well gosh, we sure could use some volunteers who are willing to donate their time and energy to make this place the best it can be.
What IS the Presentation Guild?
Short answer: We are the trade association for the presentation design industry.

Long answer: The roles and capabilities of presentation professionals are not well understood by the general public. We want to establish an appropriate category—recognized as a legitimate and influential industry—with the hope that it comes into common use. We formed the Presentation Guild to promote the presentation design and production industry as a profession.

Why a Presentation Guild?
Presentations are an influential force in business communications. The Presentation Guild wants to establish both support and certification for professionals in this industry. Similar organizations exist for graphic designers, color specialists, audiovisual experts, videographers and photographers, and speakers. We will educate, represent, and provide a forum for those who make their living as presenters and presentation creators and support professionals. We chose the name Presentation Guild because we love the connotation of master craftsmen and artisans, which represents our industry well. We also believe in the cooperative nature of a guild and want to keep that feeling throughout our association and our industry
Can anyone join the Presentation Guild?

Yes. As long as you’re part of the presentation industry, you’re one of us and we’d love to have you as a member! The presentation industry is extremely broad and potentially includes presentation writers and designers, presenters, trainers, and educators, as well as administrative assistants, presentation software and product developers, and backstage folks. All of you are welcome to join.

Can I write off my dues?

If you currently write off business expenses, we expect you can write off your Presentation Guild dues. However, you should consult your tax professional to verify your filing status. The Presentation Guild is a 501(c)6 (not for profit organization) incorporated in the state of Ohio, United States.

I have a group membership, how do I manage the users in my group?

How to add sub-accounts:

  1. Under My Guild, choose My Membership
  2. Click on Subscriptions
  3. Choose Sub Accounts
  4. Click on the Add Sub Account button
  5. Enter in the information of the user you’re adding
  6. To remove people from your account, choose Remove next to the sub account you wish to remove
